Tom Behrens has been a freelance writer for about 20 years. Most of his work deals with travel in Texas and outdoor recreation, including fishing, hunting, boating and camping. His work appears regularly in the Houston Chronicle This Week. He was a feature writer for the Sunday, Texas, supplement of the Chronicle and writes for Texas Family Magazine. His outdoor articles have appeared in the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department magazine, Texas. National publications include BASSMASTER, Rocky Mountain Game & Fish, Ohio Sportsman and Oklahoma Sportsman. Tom, his wife Ann, and their golden retriever live in Katy, TX.

Amy Durham is an Emmy Award winning writer with nearly ten years of experience. She specializes in home and garden content, though she has been known to write about finance, IT, and even weddings. Amy Lin is an educator and freelance writer. She currently teaches children writing through Writers in the Schools, a non-profit organization whose mission is to engage children in the power of reading and writing.  Previously she has worked as a public high school English teacher in Sugar Land, Texas. Tamekia Reece is a Houston, Texas-based freelancer who contributes editorial covering topics such as parenting, health, sex and relationships and teen issues. Tamekia has written for Parenting, Oxygen, Fit Pregnancy, Women's Health & Fitness, Seventeen, Texas Family Magazine, For Me, Planned Parenthood, Pregnancy, Health & Fitness Sports Magazine, Career World, and Teenwire, among others. In addition to freelance writing, Shauna researches and composes content for industry, technical, and medical clients as a copywriter. She and her high school sweetheart home school their two children and kayak regularly near Fort Worth, Texas.
